The 5th Annual Battle River Bull Sale featured a number of top quality herd sires that sold into Alberta, British Columbia and Ontario .

Crooked Post Shorthorns,Rocky Mountain House, AB consigned the high selling bull, Crooked Post Sawyer 1A, a yearling son of Waukaru Gold Mine and out of the great producing Red Rose 11P female. 1A sold to Coldstream Farm, Don Jack, Flesherton, ON for $5900.

Langco Enterprises, Viking, AB featured another stout set of two year old bulls. Ross Skori, Kinsella, AB selected Silverwillow Trans Chiefton for $5500.

The Transformer sons were very popular with Silverwillow Trans Spartan 3Z selling to Peytlen Schwetz, Waskatenau, AB for $5000.

Golden View Fabricating, Smoky Lake, AB selected 3 bulls including Crooked Post Exclusive 28A for $5000. He is a JT Exclusive son out of the top producing Hope cow family.

Kelly Hooey, Rocky Mountain House, AB chose Crooked Post Pueblo 9A for $4000. This son of Crooked Post Pueblo is out of the Maria cow line.

Ross Skori, Kinsella, AB also purchased Kenlene Alvan 6A for $4000 from Kenlene Shorthorns , Ponoka, AB. This thick made yearling bull is a son of Crooked Post Fergus and out of a JSF Addicted daughter.
