The 4th Annual All Star Sale was very successful with bidders and buyers from across Canada and the United States. What was short on numbers sure made up with quality.

Crooked Post Shorthorns always consigns top quality replacement females to this and so again this year. Crooked Post Minnie 27A , a daughter of JT Exclusive and out of the Minnie cow family sold to Kelly Hooey, Rocky Mtn House, AB for $5,500. Crooked Post Minnie 30A another daughter of Exclusive and out of Crooked Post Minnie 23W sold to Gerfen Family Farms, Ohio for $5,000. Curt Johnson, Whitewood, SK  purchased Crooked Post Red Rose 7A for $4,000. She is a daughter of Crooked Post Pueblo and out of the Red Rose Cow family.

Hargrave Shorthorns, Hargrave, MB consigned a top quality set of heifers including Hargrave 1312 Samantha 17A that sold to Hatfield Shorthorns, Gladstone, MB for $4,600. She is a daughter of Hargrave James Ricky and out of a Byland Mission sired dam.

River Ridge Shorthorns, Rosalind, AB purchased Silverwillow Serg Jewel 11A from Langco Enterprises for $4,100 She is a daughter of diamond Sergeant York and out of their good Jewel female.

Garland Shorthorns, North Battleford, SK selected the Pregnant Recipient from Paintearth Shorthorns for $5,300. This purebred female was carrying the embryo from the mating of Paintearth Sindy and Saskvalley Pioneer 126P.

A very popular heifer calf in the sale was Prospect Hill Bliss Pearl 13B, She is a daughter of Balmoral Oaks Eagle and Prospect Hill Urin31U. This fancy Roan heifer was purchased by Vanessa Sheppard, Ohaton, AB for $3,500.
